California born and raised, Greg resides in Visalisa, with his wife Lori and 3 children,
Kaitee, Jaymee, and Garret. He graduated from Redwood HIgh School in Visalia where he
also received the Most Valuable Award for wrestling. He received a degree in Animal Science
from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
By day his occupation sees him running " Custom Farming " a family owned walnut farming business.
But by night, watch out, Greg transfers his love for the dirt and soil into taming many dirt tracks across California.
He extends his experience in wrestling, the only difference is, the object he is wrestling is a 830 horsepower
Sprint Car.
The word family was not only present in the normal daytime business, but extended into racing as well,
as father JM Bragg and he competed in several SCORE OFF ROAD Events - taking their
jeep to many Class 3 Wins!
In 1999 Greg began is Oval Track dirt career in Micro Midgets at Visalia's Plaza Park Speedway. Stepping
up to Mini SPrints in 1995, he captured the Northern Star's Championship, BCRA Mini Sprint Title in 1999 and then
moved into the Southern California Lightning Sprints adding Championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
In 2000 and 2001, Greg also journeyed to Australia for three weeks each year where he raced a Mini SPrint, claiming
five out of eight Feature WIns and setting two track records!
In 2003, an opportunity to pilot a 410 sprint car knocked on Greg's door - which he gladly opened the door and competed with the
SCRA for several seasons. Greg rose to the fast faced world of Non Wing Sprint Car Racing. He acclimated himself well and
exhibited the same racing skills that carried him to success in his earlier racing experiences.
Circumstances caused the team to seize operations and Greg set his sights on opportunities closer to home,
Greg's driving abilities landed him a ride in Northern California, the Bandit and SCRA 360 series,
where his new founded knowledge of the 410's played a large key in the competition of the
Non Wing 360 Engine Series.
Over a thirteen year period, Greg has scored one hundred fifty-six feature victories!!!
