Heart break for Jake & Team Moose. 30 cars,Jake went out 27th to qualify & came in 5th quick. Finished 2nd in heat & started outside front row of main.
The green flag flying and Jake took off like a rocket, and there was no looking back. He took control of all restarts & was gone. He had the field so covered that in the video he wasn't even in the shits. Last couple laps Bernal closed in, closer & closer. Coming down for white Bernal gained, Jake got him back. Into 1, we were basically slammed, taking out us & him.!!! It was unbelievable. YOu could the gasp as fellow racers and fans pretty much sat in disbelief. Jake pushed off & restarted.
Car in the pits, left side of cafe by jakes left hand totally crushed in.....sure glad Jake was ok, cuz after looking at the car it could of been real ugly.
With a restart for a green white checkered, Austimm Williams was sitting 5th. Game on, as the top 4 were scrambling and Austin keopt his cool and muscled his way past for The Win!
