The 2017 season Is finally in the books. And for Jake and The Moose Team, the ending chapter turned out pretty darn well..
A season of a mixed schedule between 360’s and 410’s made the year very busy and resulting in Great overall USAC 360 & USAC/CRA Championship Points.
Jake in a combined effort between driving the Moose Racing 92, The Matt Dale # 12 and Larry Henry’s 41, resulted in Jake’s first 360 Championship!!!!
The USAC/CRA 410 series saw several podium finishes, 5 Woodland Fast Time Awards and numerous top 5’s. The series shook out at The Oval Nationals securing Jake’s overall in the 410’s, a strong 3rd !
Tom, Laurie & Jake can not say thank you enough to the entire Moose Herd ( Chris, Jim, Roger, Dan, Jessica, Jimmy and Mallory ), this teams hard work was proven on and off the track. Special kudos to Richard from RC Performance for the on track and help in the garage.

The Kistler engines were loaded on a truck and headed to Ohio the Monday after the final 410 race, the chassis stripped and headed to Specialized Powdercoating, Rear Ends, Pumps and all will be headed to CRC,. to be serviced. Of coarse our friends Jamie and Classic Imp are already designing the next awesome T-Shirt. Poof, the 2018 season is underway. Everyone is excited that Jake will be back for his 5th season in the Moosemobile. The team is in the process of planning a trip to Indiana to compete in The National Series, Indiana Sprint week! The team is looking for people or companies that would like to join the Moose Team, there are marketing opportunities available!!
